Compiled from each vendor's public website, pricing page and help center, re-checked 27 Sep 2026. "None found" means the vendor's public site showed no AI that its operators' customers talk to directly at that date — it is not a claim about unreleased or private features. Product names are trademarks of their owners. See something wrong or out of date? Tell us and we'll correct it.

Where we're different

Four reasons operators switch.

Our AI finishes the job.

AI is arriving in this category: route planners, staff assistants, message-takers, one chat that schedules. We found none that publicly shows an agent answering your customer's phone call, quoting, booking and taking payment on its own — with the price published. That is the whole product thesis of CansOut.

Pricing you can read.

Most of the category is demo-gated. The free tiers that are published are often paid for with card-processing margin. Ours is flat, public and at-cost on processing.

Recovery and attribution are built in.

No competitor site we reviewed names SLA-triggered service recovery as a feature, and attribution usually stops at a lead-source dropdown. Both are core modules here.

Deep, not wide.

Multi-service platforms spread across septic, portable sanitation and recycling. CansOut is roll-off only — every screen is built for the way a can actually moves.

Fair's fair

When another platform might suit you better.

We'd rather you pick the right tool than churn in three months.

  • You need septic, portable toilets or residential curbside routes on the same platform. A multi-service platform is built for that; we're roll-off only.
  • You're a municipality or bidding government solid-waste contracts. Enterprise and municipal platforms serve that buyer.
  • You want free software and don't mind paying for it through processing fees. There are free tiers in this market.
Switching from another platform?

Bring your customers. We'll bring the AI.

Import accounts and job sites, dedupe them, and have the agent answering after-hours calls while you still run your old system by day.
